Ten of us just spent a week here for a belated 50 th celebration, cycling some of the Tour de France's iconic Cols. John and Libby were excellent hosts and very accommodating in our meal times. The food was also fantastic and freshly cooked every day by John and cakes baked daily by Libby. The chalet is set amongst some great scenery at the base of Mont du Chery and a 10 mins walk into the town of Les Gets. During our trip we cycled the , Col de la Colombiere, Col du Joux plane, Col de joux Vert up to Avoriaz and The Mont Chery prologue stage from the 2016 Criterium de Dauphine. For a rest day we cycled down to the town of Thonon on Lake Geneva. John and Libby also had great knowledge of the area and we're a great help nothing being to much trouble. We will definitely be back . Thanks John & Libby for helping make it a memorable trip.

Had a brilliant five day stay at Alp Experience in August. John and Libby were perfect hosts, the chalet was clean and cosy and Billy the resident husky was very friendly. They gave us lots of tips on where to go and John even showed us around the town and took us on the cable cars to a great fondue restaurant with beautiful views. The food at the chalet was fantastic, definitely worth doing half board and they catered for any dietary requirements. The hot tub was an added bonus and the scenery from the hot tub was amazing. The local goat village, mountains and lakes are all worth a visit. The big towns are beautiful but very busy with tourists. Looking forward to going back again next summer. Only tip is unless you need to take bikes/skis I would definitely recommend flying in to Geneva as the drive from the UK was looong!

The food was all homemade and lovely. The actual house is comfortable and relaxing, the hot tub as well was perfect, in the right area outside. The garden, with snow, looked and was lovely. John and Libby were very good spirited and nice people.

Super friendly chalet hosts John & Libby, couldn't do enough for us. British Bake-off style cakes and desserts, and a fabulous five course NYE dinner. Perfect, cosy chalet, 5 mins walk from lovely Les Gets town centre. Highly recommend!

A group of 6 of us piled into John’s place in Les Gets in February this year and had a cracking stay! We were delivered to the slopes every morning, shown where the best skiing was all week & cake was waiting at the pub when we had finished for the day! There is a vast ski area to explore and slopes on offer at Les Gets for all abilities. John’s home cooked evening meals were absolutely first class and served with limitless quantities of beer and wine which is always nice.
His friendly approach, knowledge of the piste and the nightlife were invaluable and really added to the experience. We all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to arranging the next visit.
